Do something special with your summer holidays this year. Volunteer with us in Peru during your break from School or University and gain a valuable experience by directly improving the lives of people in Peru.

Depending on the skills you possess, summer volunteers can get involved in building wind turbines, developing the wind turbine design, networking and meeting communities and small businesses as possible recipients or working with volunteers on the 5-week program.

Working with Volunteer WindAid is a great way to improve your resume, gain work experience relevant to your studies or intended job or just do something interesting for the summer months.

The normal working hours for volunteers are 9am - 6pm, Monday to Friday. Proficiency in Spanish is not essential but ability to speak the language will make it possible for you to help Volunteer WindAid in more ways.

If you are interested in what we are trying to achieve and wish to volunteer during your summer holidays (June to October) please complete the volunteer application form.

$700 per month - You will live-in at the Volunteer WindAid accommodation and receive 2 meals per day (6 days a week). We will cover all your transport for volunteer related activites (such as travel to various communities in Peru). You will have full support from our volunteer coordinator in preparing for your travel to Peru and during your stay in Trujillo, access to Spanish classes and receive a Volunteer WindAid T-Shirt.

Part of your volunteer fee also helps pay for the wind turbines that we build as well as other essential items such as light bulbs and radios for communities that currently have nothing.
