We are
always looking for enthusiastic and energetic people to join us at
Volunteer WindAid.
Volunteer WindAid offers an
inclusive 5-week volunteer program during which volunteers build and
install a wind turbine and present it for free to a community in Peru.
However, if you are a
volunteer with more time on your hands Volunteer WindAid can provide
volunteer opportunities. Working with Volunteer
WindAid provides an ideal opportunity for you to gain experience
working on sustainable projects, helping encourage conservation and
educating people on the benefits of appropriate and renewable
technologies.
Be it a gap year,
sabbatical, career break or simply a change of career you have the
chance to be directly involved in making a positive and long
lasting difference in the lives of people living in Peru.
There are a variety of
roles you can fill at Volunteer WindAid, be it building wind turbines, searching for, meeting and
preparing communities for receiving wind turbines or
developing and designing appropriate and renewable technologies to be used
as alternative energy solutions.
The normal working hours
for volunteers are 9am - 6pm, Monday to Friday. Proficiency in Spanish
is not essential but ability to speak the language will increase your opportunities with Volunteer WindAid.
If you are interested in what we are
trying to achieve and wish to volunteer
please complete the volunteer
application form.
